18th Century Indonesian Hand Carved Table - John Nicholas Antiques

This beautiful and truly stunning 18th century rosewood table features an intricately and detailed carved design of scrolls and vines around the sides and top edges of the piece, with an inset hardwood burr top. It was done for the Dutch East India Company, which showcases its VOC emblem in the center of each side of the skirt and is supported on barley twist legs connected by an 'X' frame base. It measures 46 in - 117 cm wide, 30 1/2 in - 77.5 cm deep and 28 1/2 in - 72.3 cm in height. This amazing piece would most certainly make an excellent focal point or decorators' piece for many different rooms and decors.

Late Summer English Landscape by the Circle of Thomas Gainsborough - Thomas Crabb Antiques

A superb late summer English landscape depicting a traveler returning home at dusk, encased by a hand carved gilt wood frame of an extremely high quality. Both pieces date to the 18th c., c.1780, the painting, a true country house picture and the frame a very stately home one. It measures 55 in – 139.8 cm wide, 46 in – 117 cm high and 4 in – 10 cm deep, including the frame. The picture opening measures 42 ¾ in – 108.5 cm by 33 ¾ in – 86 cm.

19th Century French Marquetry Fold-Over Card Table - Thomas Crabb Antiques

This superb quality 19th century French Kingwood fold over card table features a beautifully detailed and intricate marquetry inlaid design. The table showcases a complex pattern of scrolls, floras and designs, with heavy, elaborate ormolu mounts and trim around the shaped top edge. It opens to reveal a green baize center surrounded by a wide band of marquetry design, with an ormolu border between. The table has excellent provenance and bears a trade label under the baize for Ate Leger, Succ, plus a pencil signature of the maker and date, January 1861. The card table measures 33 in – 83.8 cm wide, 16 ½ in – 42 cm deep and 29 ½ in – 75 cm in height. This amazing and magnificent table would enhance any room and make an excellent focal point. This handsome and well-proportioned George III mahogany linen press features 2 cross banded panelled doors which reveal a central slide over 2 short and 2 long drawers. The unit also has ornate brass hardware and is supported on bracket feet. It measures 49 in – 124.5 cm wide, 23 ¼ in – 59 cm deep and 81 ½ in – 207 cm in height. This linen press would make an outstanding feature in many different decors and settings.

Sheraton design mahogany drop leaf Pembroke table features a cross banded border around the table top as well as the drawers and inlaid diamond design decoration. The table has a drawer face on each side, one working drawer and one false drawer. It is supported on slender square tapered legs with brass castors. It measures 19 ¾ in – 50.2 cm wide with the table closed and 38 ¼ in – 97.1 cm fully opened, with a depth of 32 ¾ in – 83.2 cm and a height of 28 ¼ in – 71.8 cm.         C. 1790  

Superb 19th C. Large Oak Library Steps - John Nicholas Antiques

These magnificent and oversized 19th c. Oak library steps are stamped VR, and were originally from the Tate Gallery. It measures 99 in – 251 cm in total height, with a depth of 24 ½ in – 62.5 cm deep and 54 ½ in - 138.4 cm wide. The height to the platform is 64 ½ in – 163 cm. It is a fine quality piece that would grace any library.
